Hero Splendor Plus Highlights

Hero MotoCorp recently increased the prices of its BS6 product lineup, including the Splendor Plus. You can check out the latest price list along with other details here. The Hero Splendor Plus Black And Accent colour variant was launched in India in October 2020. This variant is available in three design themes along with an option of creating custom graphics. The variant is priced at Rs 65,295 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Hero Splendor Plus Price:

The BS6 Hero Splendor Plus now gets a starting price of Rs 61,785, Rs 825 more than the previous price. The electric start variant of the Splendor Plus carries a price tag of Rs 64,085 while the i3S-equipped trim, as well as the Black And Accent colour variant are priced at Rs 65,295 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).

Hero Splendor Plus Features:

The Hero Splendor BS6 remains a no-frills motorcycle. It gets a basic lighting system and analogue console. This basic instrumentation reads out only the speed, total distance covered, and fuel level. The bikini fairing and the iconic rectangular headlight have been synonymous with the Splendor. The i3S variant, as the name suggests, comes with the Idle Stop Start System. This feature turns off the engine while it idles for more than 5 seconds in traffic. The engine turns back on once the clutch lever is pulled. This should help in extracting more mileage out of the motorcycle, especially on traffic-riddled roads.

Hero Splendor Plus Engine:

The Splendor BS6 is powered by the same old 97.2cc sloper engine but it now gets fuel-injection as standard. This humble motor has seen a small drop of 0.35PS in power, producing 8.01PS. Torque remains constant at 8.05Nm and there is no change to the four-speed transmission.

Hero Splendor Plus Suspension & Brakes:

The Hero Splendor Plus continues to employ simple and trusty mechanicals. The double-cradle frame houses the sloper motor with suspension duties handled by a telescopic fork and preload-adjustable twin shocks. You only get 130mm drum brakes at both ends with CBS as standard.
